Dual units to be used for the reporting of HbA1c results from July 1, 2011

Most laboratories in Australia will be reporting the results of HbA1c tests on their diabetic patients in both the old % units and the new mmol/mol units from July first. Dual units will be reported for about two years and then only the new mmol/mol units will be used.
