Lab Tests Online Europa

February 6, 2008
The Lab Tests Online community has celebrated in Brussels, the arrival of the first versions of Lab Tests Online to Europe as well as the inclusion of Lab Tests Online in the Health-EU Portal of the European Commission.

Lab Tests Online reaches around 1.5 million users world-wide per month, providing them with easy to understand, accurate and reliable information about laboratory tests, their related conditions and screening programmes in each country. The multilingual platform is now available in Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Spain in addition to the United States (original version), the UK and Australia. Lab Tests Online is expanding across the world by being translated, extended and localised in each country by the national scientific society for Clinical Chemistry, with the support of the In Vitro Diagnostic industry.

The success of the European versions, visited by 300,000 European users per month, have convinced new partners to join the project. Greece, Portugal and the Czech Republic will be the next European partners to benefit from Lab Tests Online in their languages. Discussions are currently underway in France and the Netherlands with the Lab Tests Online partners to keep working to bring the site to the rest of the European Union Member States.

Although Lab Tests Online is available in other languages and you may select your language of choice from the flags in the header, it is important to remember that Lab Tests Online Australasia provides additonal information specific to Australians.
